The Scott Pro Taper ski pole is back in 2011 and is so similar to this 2007 version with just a slightly different tip. If a different paint job is worth the $99.00 full price, then go ahead and pass on this 2007 version which is almost 50% less. If you like saving $$ like most of us do, this 2007 Pro Taper is the way to go.
