Don’t Let Falling Put You Off.

Don’t let falling put you off.

Skiing is a slippery business and a little unpredictable when you’re new at the whole thing. Most people hurt their knees , wrists and thumbs when they fall forward so initially try and keep your balance with a bit of a back lean so that you would fall backwards.

Try to keep your weight equally balanced on both skiis in order to go straight ahead. Later you will learn how to veer to the left or right. Keep a bend in the knees and the ankles and relax a little in the hips. It’ll help you keep your balance.

If you feel your’re going to fall ,remember to bring the tips of the skis together. This will slow you down and bring you to a stop.
